A two-time All-American at James Madison University, Baillie Versfeld is entering her first season as an assistant coach at Miami University. A 2007 graduate of JMU, Versfeld led the Dukes to the 2006 NCAA Tournament and boasts international playing experience with the Zimbabwe National Team.

A decorated field hockey player during her collegiate career, Versfeld earned All-Colonial Athletic Association honors in each of her four collegiate seasons. As a senior, Versfeld was named to the womensfieldhockey.com All-America First Team and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-America Second Team.

One of the CAA's top midfielder's in 2006, Versfeld tallied five goals and six assists as she was selected to the All-CAA First Team. Versfeld also was tabbed as the CAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading James Madison to a 1-0 victory over Old Dominion in the title game and propelling the Dukes into the NCAA Tournament.

As a junior, Versfeld was named to the womensfieldhockey.com and NFHCA All-America Second Team after tying for the team lead in goals and finishing second in points. One of the team's tri-captains, Versfeld was selected to the All-CAA First Team, the NFHCA All-South First Team and was honored as the JMU Female Athlete of the Year. Versfeld additionally earned All-CAA and NFHCA All-South First Team honors as a sophomore and was tabbed to the All-CAA Second Team as a freshman.

In addition to her playing experience at the collegiate level, Versfeld -- a native of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe -- has represented her country internationally and is currently a member of the Zimbabwe National Team. She spent two seasons on the Under-16 National Team and two seasons with the Under-18 National Team. Versfeld was the team captain of the U-18 squad for one season.

A member of the Dean's List, Versfeld graduated from JMU in May 2007 with a degree in kinesiology, which included a concentration in sports management and a minor in business.
